Rosie Evans stock is made in their Brighton studio, using secondhand/dead-stock or ethically and sustainable produced materials.

A large part of the process in designing with pre-existing materials is looking at how to get the most out of the materials, to not be wasteful and also respect the history of the textile.

Rosie is mostly inspired by fantasy and history, especially folk history and mythology. Coming from Wales, there's a big cultural history to take inspiration from. She also takes inspiration from traditional making techniques like knitting, smocking and embroidery, and how they can be used in modern production methods.
